Back in 1963-4 I was an undergraduate at Antioch who took a course from Irwin Ingler who taught us "how to get things done in politics" using a case study of his work which led to the emergence of Wright State University and the layout of expressways which surround it. I wonder how much different the events described above were from the ones Ingler described involving "movers and shakers" in the Dayton region. At the time, Irwin was director of corporate giving or some title like that for NCR a company headquartered in Dayton. Fascinating!
